SWISSCANONICA selected as school caterer for LFJM

Starting in January 2018 SWISSCANONICA was selected as the new school caterer for the Lycée Francais Jean Mermoz (LFJM). Working closely with the school, SWISSCANONICA designed a meal plan that suited the unique needs of the growing LFJM community. As a French school, the administration wanted to make sure that meals were well suited for small children, nutritious and simple.

The school also requested a single meal each day, so that all children would eat the same food together. Teachers were also encouraged to eat with the children, helping to make the lunch time a community experience. With each student eating the same meal, the student uptake in the canteen program quickly grew.

After a successful second semester, LFJM and SWISSCANONICA decided to extend their partnership to the 2018-19 school year. In addition, SWISSCANONICA opened a new parents’ café at the school, offering fresh salads, sandwiches, pastries and coffee for parents and staff. The new concept, Cano Café, is a community meeting point for the school.
